How hypnotherapy can help you

Diets and losing weight are a dilemma that face many people, some feel pressure from partners, family or friends, some from the media and others it may be from medical practitioners!

Diets focus on what you eat, how many calories it has, or amount of carbohydrates you eat.  Whereas hypnotherapy focuses on how you feel about food, do you crave certain foods, do you eat as a response to upset, or whatever reason it is that is personal to you!

Hypnotherapy looks at changing your relationship with food and how you eat, developing positive relationships with food, making you feel more confident about your body, changing any negative thoughts you may have about eating and helping you lose weight in a more healthy way, promoting long term changes and positive effects on your well being.

There are various different weight loss hypnotherapy techniques, which we will talk through at your FREE initial consultation and once the right course of action has been agreed, you will have a bespoke programme.

For any diet or weight loss programme to truly work you need to be committed to it and being doing it because it is your decision and yours alone!


Why?

You may need to lose weight if you have a BMI of more than 25, or in men a waist measuring more than 37 inches and in women a waist measuring more than 32 inches.

Health

People with a BMI in excess of 25 may find that they suffer from high cholesterol, high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, insulin resistance, sleep apnea or painful joints.

Lose 10%

By losing 10% of your body weight you will have significant health benefits, including a lesser chance of heart attack or stroke, reduce your cholesterol levels and reduce blood pressure.

Well being

From losing weight you may feel healthier and have a greater sense of well being.  You will also have to treat yourself to a new wardrobe of clothes and maybe even a change of image.
